Pasta
de Rescue Is A Rescue Community Success
On Sunday, Feb. 24th, more that 100 people gathered at the
Albany Elks Club to Support Ryley’s Run and the 1st
inaugural Pasta de Rescue. The rescue community Came together
and enjoyed a wonderful pasta feed with all of the proceeds
not only Benefiting Rescue Groups but also directly being
used to help pull and transport high Risk dogs in known kill
shelters. The UAlbany women's softball & soccer teams
spent The days prior to the event cooking homemade deserts
that were sold to the attendees With all the money raised
donated to the event. Not only were they tireless supporters
Leading up to the big evening, they also volunteered throughout
the dinner helping in Any way they could. The silent auction
started off fast and furious and had people Bidding and rebidding
to get the items they wanted. Kim Monocchi, who came all the
Way from CT, won the 50/50 and turned right around and redonated
it!!! Tim McMahon of NUTRO Foods presented Coach Chris Cannata
of the UAlbany Women's softball team a two year supply of
dog food, and then gave Suzanne LeMoyne, from Sunshine Golden
Retriever Rescue, a one year supply of NUTRO Food. The common
thread that bound everyone together throughout the evening
was The love and devotion they all share for dogs. By the
end of the event there was Nobody hungry, nobody sad, and
nobody that hadn’t given their all for Rescue. It’s
evenings like these that helps restore our faith in what we
are trying to accomplish.

have been professionally produced and Co-sponsored by Nutro
Dog Food & Ryley’s Run. We chose to have
an 18 month Calendar because we always try to do things a
little better than anyone else—and it Shows with this
beautiful calendar.
The
calendars are $15 each with all proceeds Going to rescue.
Shipping will be on Mondays & Fridays and we expect a
7-10 day delivery period. Buy some for friends and family—wear
your rescue heart on your sleeve.
