OUR MISSION

Ryley's Run began as a fundraiser to help with the medical costs for one dog, Ryley. Ryley had been abused and abandoned. But some how he found the strength and Courage to wander into a stranger's yard seeking help. From that moment on he stole our hearts and we felt an urgent need to get involved. And so became Ryley's Run. In 2008 we have become more proactive and have begun expanding our rescue mission to include

  • sponsoring dogs in danger so they may be pulled from local kill shelters;
  • helping arrange transportation when possible to get loving dogs Into loving homes; finding safe shelters for canine respite care;
  • targeting in need Rescue groups and helping them in their fundraising efforts;
  • creation of our sister Site, www.rescuecentral.info, so that the rescue community has a place to network;
  • And finally, a concerted effort to reach all cities that would be interested in hosting Their own Ryley’s Run.

Our goal is simple...to make the public aware of just how Many dogs are out there alone and how many have been abused, abandoned and Neglected. Each year, we will hold the event in the hopes of raising a substantial Amount of money, and donate to different rescue organizations every year. Our goal Is lofty but attainable—to help end the thoughtless abuse and abandonment of dogs Across the United States. To want anything less is unthinkable.
